New Macbook, Macbook Pro

Boys like me never grow. Any new gadget, I want to own it as soon as possible. 

BAD MENTALITY!!!

Because of this, my Macbook model that I own is currently, and officially as of this day 27 Feb 2008, two models behind the latest.

ONLY IN A MATTER OF 3 MONTHS!!

Chronology: 

My Model >> (a week later) New Macbook with better graphic card and ships with Leopard >> (not long later, today) launching of New Macbook with faster processors, bigger hard disk drive space and memory

Anyways, today Apple has introduces new Macbook and Macbook Pro models.

YES, they look the same. BUT they perform better! Which is a good thing though. No one can tell that I am using the older model or not. =)

The new Macbooks still comes with three models and faster processors, 2.1gHz White, 2.4 White and 2.4 Black respectively. All three new models also comes with bigger hard disk drive space which is 120GB, 160GB and a massive 250GB respectively. The 2.1gHz model stays with 1GB RAM while 2.4gHz models gets 2GB RAM each.

New Macbook Pros on the other hand also possesses Intel's new processors at 2.4gHz and 2.5gHz. Another great upgrade on the Macbook Pro is its new Multitouch trackpad inherited from Macbook Air.

Penryn processors are still unknown for any real world difference if compared to Merom processors that these models use to run on. It is said that programs which are specifically written for Penryn processors, it will run 40% faster than Merom.

But wait! One disadvantage of all these new models is that all of them doesn't come with an Apple Remote like it does traditionally. No worries, it only cost USD18 each.

Just for everyone's info, firmware 1.1.4 is out for iPhone and iPod touch.

Now to some talk about handphone. Today in conjunction with the launch of Apple New Macbook/Pro model, my classmate bought a Sony Ericsson W960. Damn its nice!

Its more like a smartphone. Similar functions to a Sony Ericsson P1i. A Walkman smartphone.

Pretty hard to get used to at first but slowly and steadily you will be able to master it. W960 is surprisingly slimmer than expected. Pretty wide but it only makes the phone looks nicer. Its not heavy and its just cool! I want one too!! 

No worries too. Just gotta rip out about RM2k for that. =S
